Hello
I’m a Health Writer with expertise in Mental Health and Child and Adolescent Health as well as a Versatile Health Book Ghostwriter (Self Help, Personal Growth, Cardiology, Cooking, Acupuncture, Autism, Cancer, Paediatric Psychology, Yoga, Shamanism) for publishing houses such as Penguin Random House, Simon & Schuster, Bloomsbury, Watkins, Hachette and Mayo Clinic Press. I'm also the author of 15 books of my own, translated in 13 foreign languages, including the bestselling health memoir, A Head Full of Blue, and select media appearances include The FT Weekend Podcast, ITN London Tonight, BBC-1 Breakfast and BBC Radio 4 Woman's Hour. Stories I'm particularly proud of include an Observer cover story on suicide, a Guardian Family cover story on the secrets parents must eventually share with their children, an FT Weekend Magazine story on sober wine appreciation, stories for The Jewish Chronicle on the last Israeli settler to leave the Gaza Strip in 2005 and an Israeli-Palestinian women's Weight Watchers co-existence through dieting peace initiative, stories on finding a therapist for your child, teen dating violence, pregnancy loss and how fathers can navigate menstrual products for their female identifying daughters for Mayo Clinic, interview led features on Keith Richards, Lou Reed and Roman Polanski for Uncut, a surreal interview with Harmony Korine for the Scottish Herald and a wide range of award winning op-ed articles and columns for The Guardian about self harm in teens and young adults. I live in West London and am also fortunate to call Los Angeles my second home. I like to switch off by jogging with my dog, via the inexact science of making pizza for loved ones and through travel with a wellness aspect to it.
